At my time with the PEN Project, I got the opportunity to edit poems, short stories, opinion pieces, and the like from prisoners who were apart of this program. They would send in their work, I would edit it, and then send it back to them so that they could be revised.
Please note that because I am not allowed to reveal their names, my name, or any quotations from their work to the public. To cover both of our identities within this community, I have blacked out quotations from these works.
